Elizabeth Griffin, M.A., LMFT
Elizabeth is a Clinical Consultant to Faithful & True and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over thirty years experience assessing and treating adults who struggle with problematic sexual behaviors, including sexually compulsive behaviors and sexual offense behaviors. Specialty areas include assessing and treating individuals, both men and women, who experience problematic online sexual behaviors, including cybersex addition. Additionally, Elizabeth has worked with partners of individuals who are in relationships with individuals who are struggling with problematic sexual behavior.
Elizabeth has worked in a variety of settings including in-patient, out-patient, military and prison settings. She lectures and consults nationally on the assessment and treatment of problematic online sexual behaviors, sexual offending behaviors and sexual addiction. Elizabeth has published numerous academic articles on issues related to problematic sexual behavior both offline and online. She is co-author of several books and workbooks including In the Shadows of the Net, Cybersex Unhooked, Cybersex Unplugged and Illegal Images.
